The Full Video

So here is the full video of the University visit. It's strange but there are always fans running at the Uni and I never get good sound, the humming backdrop of air conditioning and projector fans and hard drives. I enjoyed listening to this all again. The bits where we all laugh and the contributions from Playground staff. Johan describes the warm and the cold streams of Marxism (I'm sure they were winds last time) and there is a slight sadness about where we are - where we have got to on what is probably our watch in terms of young people. My favorite bit is where Johan talks of the way the British think of their children - something Like- "They don't like them - they want to take their childhood for themselves as they also never had one" . It doesn't feel like people are eulogizing about the past thaty never was it feels much more directed to confront the real changes that have taken place since the end of the 70's and the implications this has on all our futures.
